FANTASTIC FOUR - FULL LOAD OF PEAT SMOKE

Our most intense bottling to date is the fourth whisky of the Signature Edition: The Four is smokier than any of its predecessors and matured entirely in Andalusian sherry casks.

A full load of peat smoke: With a phenolic content of 54 ppm in the malt, the "Four" is not only the smokiest bottling to date, but also our most aromatically powerful due to the full maturation in sherry casks.

SIGNATURE EDITION FOUR: SURPRISINGLY INTENSE, SPICY AND SMOKY

The reason for the "Force" in Four: Spanish temperament meets Scottish whisky tradition. For Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, a first-class combination: "Our 'Four' is bursting with power and spice. With its distinctive peat smoke, it doesn't need to hide from typical Islay whiskies. The special combination of distinctive smoke and fruity sherry tones brings a spirited, very mature aroma into the glass." Distilled in genuine Scottish pot stills, the new single malt provides an intense enjoyment experience.

Tried and tested: Master Distiller Mario Rudolf creates the new whiskies of the Signature Edition from many different cask samples.

FULLY MATURED IN THE BEST SHERRY CASKS

Selected sherry barrels from Andalusia give the "Four" its fruity and spicy character. In autumn, Mario Rudolf and his team visited the legendary bodegas in the region around Jerez. But not all sherry is the same: half of the single malt whisky was allowed to mature in selected former oloroso barrels and half in Pedro Ximénez casks. While the dry Oloroso sherry primarily gives off nutty-spicy aromas to the distillate, sweet Pedro Ximénez - or "PX" for short - lends intense notes of sultanas and candied dried fruit. Together? They form a fruity counterpart to the strong peat smoke in "Four".

The "Three" is a genuine peated malt whisky according to the classic model - smoky, tangy and fresh. It combines warm peat smoke with typical St. Kilian aromas of ripe pears and malt as well as spicy-sweet vanilla and caramel accents from the casks. A higher alcohol strength of 50 % vol. intensifies the complex flavours of the whisky: "100 Proof" for 100 percent enjoyment.
