Whisky as an investment!

How good is whisky as an investment?

In the last 10 years alone, the value of rare whiskies/whiskeys has increased by over 450%. This puts whisky well ahead of luxury items such as works of art, watches, jewellery or coins in terms of value growth. The great advantage of whisky investments is that whisky requires little space and no care; in addition, bottled whisky has a virtually unlimited shelf life.

Invest in your own whisky cask

Of course, taste is one of the most decisive arguments for a purchase decision and thus for an investment. Especially in an inflationary environment, an investment in whisky often serves to maintain or even increase value.

We regularly have 30-litre barrels coopered for this very purpose: Your personal St. Kilian whisky, whether mild or smoky, sweet-vanilla or fruity-spicy - you decide how your whisky should taste.
In the small oak casks, the whisky develops its full-grown aroma after only three years of maturation - and is ready to be filled into our pot-still bottles (0.5 litres). A cask yields about 45 bottles of your whisky and has a reference price of min. 69,90€ per bottled bottle. Thus, you earn - besides a delicious whisky - a great return on investment.
