Prestigious awards for St. Kilian whiskies and liqueurs in South Africa and the USA
St. Kilian Distillers sweeps up a total of 20 medals at the Aurora International Taste Challenge and the USA Spirits Ratings

St. Kilian Distillers from Rüdenau near Miltenberg am Main celebrates another prestigious success at this year's Aurora International Taste Challenge (AITC) in South Africa. The German whisky distillery was awarded a total of 14 medals in various categories for its outstanding whiskies and liqueurs. This impressive success underlines the high quality and excellence of the diverse St. Kilian product range.
AITC 2023 is an internationally prestigious event that brings together the best spirits producers from around the world to have their products judged by an independent panel of judges. During the evaluation, the products were blindly judged and awarded prizes by internationally experienced experts. A total of five gold medals were awarded to St. Kilian for outstanding whiskies and liqueurs. In addition, six other St. Kilian products received silver medals as a sign of exceptional quality and taste.
The highlight of the awards is undoubtedly the three Double Gold medals, which underline the high level of innovation and passion of the distillery from Chur-Franconia. Double Gold was awarded to the strong character Core Range bottling, St. Kilian CLASSIC - Mild & Fruity, the smoky whiskey from the Terence Hill range and the limited Signature Edition THIRTEEN.

Further medals followed at the USA Spirits Ratings, or USR, held in San Francisco. In this competition, spirits are judged in three key areas. To be among the award winners, distilleries must offer high-quality spirits that provide good value for money for both retailers and consumers. In addition, their appearance on the shelf and at the counter is included in the judging.
At the USR 2023, the bottlings from St. Kilian Distillers were awarded an outstanding four gold medals and one silver medal. In addition, the Signature Edition Thirteen received the award "Best in Show by Country Category" for the country Germany and the category Whisky. This smoky single malt is a rich composition of five different types of wood and convinced the international jury of experts with this unusual composition.
