Outstanding success for St. Kilian Distillers at the 2023 Bartender Spirits Awards in San Francisco
The awards underline the enormous versatility of the Rüdenau whiskies and liqueurs

The renowned German whisky distillery St. Kilian Distillers has achieved great success at this year's Bartender Spirits Awards in San Francisco. The company from the Lower Franconian town of Rüdenau near Miltenberg am Main received a total of three gold, three silver and one bronze medal for its high-quality whiskies and liqueurs.
The Bartender Spirits Awards, held annually in San Francisco, is a major spirits industry event where the top products are judged by a panel of experts - consisting of top bartenders from American restaurants, bars, pubs and clubs. Medals are awarded to those spirits that score highly on the evaluation criteria of mixability, balance and versatility, taste, mouthfeel and finish, packaging, and price, and thus perform best.
Among more than 1,400 different spirits from 45 countries, the expert jury awarded the extensive product portfolio of St. Kilian Distillers with an outstanding seven medals. With an impressive 93 points out of a maximum of 100, the smoky single malt whisky "Judas Priest - 50 Heavy Metal Years" won a gold medal. This anniversary bottling in cooperation with the British heavy metal band got its unique character from barley malt, which was gently smoked over beechwood fires. The single malt whisky with a strong character from the Core Range, "St. Kilian Peated - Rich & Smoky," was also awarded gold. In addition, the highly aromatic hazelnut liqueur on a New Make basis, "Terence Hill - The Hero - Voll auf die Nuss", received another gold medal with an outstanding 90 points.

Award winning bottlings available
The two excellent bottlings St. Kilian PEATED - Rich & Smoky and St. Kilian CLASSIC - Mild & Fruity form the Core Range at St. Kilian Distillers. These single malt whiskies, bottled in 0.7-liter pot-still bottles, are permanently in the range alongside the Bud Spencer and Terence Hill whiskies.
