How good is whisky as an investment?

In the last 10 years alone, the value increase for rare whiskies has amounted to over 450%. This puts whisky significantly ahead of luxury goods such as works of art, watches, jewellery or coins in terms of value development. The great advantage of whisky investments is that whisky requires little space and no maintenance, and bottled whisky in bottles can also be stored almost indefinitely.

Invest in your own whisky cask

Of course, taste is one of the most crucial arguments for a purchase decision and thus for an investment. Especially in an inflationary environment, an investment in whisky often serves as a means of preserving value and even increasing it.

We regularly have 30l casks coopered for this very purpose: your personal St. Kilian whisky, whether mild or smoky, sweet-vanilla or fruity-spicy – you decide how your whisky should taste.
In the small oak casks, the whisky develops its full aroma after only three years of maturation – and is ready for bottling in our Pot-Still bottles (0.5 litres). A cask yields approximately 45 bottles of your whisky and has a reference price of at least €69.90 per bottled bottle. Thus, in addition to a delicious whisky, you generate an excellent return.
