St. Kilian Distillers expands its license for Bud Spencer single malt whiskies with the Wild West liqueur Bud Spencer "Firewater"!

"BUD SPENCER – The Legend – FIREWATER" – this is the name of the latest liqueur from St. Kilian, where premium liqueurs are created for a global audience in addition to whisky.
Following the tremendous success of the two multi-award-winning single malts from the Bud Spencer whisky series, it was only logical for Germany's largest whisky distillery to pay tribute to the popular Western hero Bud Spencer with his own Wild West liqueur, thereby fulfilling the desires of many St. Kilian liqueur fans.

BUD SPENCER FIREWATER is a chili-cinnamon liqueur based on St. Kilian Single Malt Spirit, which was double distilled from the finest barley malt in traditional copper pot stills. With a rich alcohol content of 33% vol. for a liqueur and the combination of spicy cinnamon notes and pleasant chili heat, the Firewater will be a true highlight. The Firewater is available in the same plump 0.7l bottles as the popular Bud Spencer whiskies.
Whether on hot evenings or cold nights, BUD SPENCER FIREWATER promises pure enjoyment all year round.
Bud Spencer Firewater will be available in stores from the end of April 2021.

Successful license cooperation with BSL

Bavaria Sonor Licensing (BSL), a division of Bavaria Media GmbH, was commissioned by the rights holder Plattfuss Vertriebs GmbH to expand the product world around Bud Spencer and Terence Hill with licensing cooperations and corresponding licensed products throughout Europe. BSL mediated this license cooperation for the "Bud Spencer" brand to St. Kilian Distillers GmbH.

Andreas Thümmler, owner and managing director of St. Kilian Distillers GmbH, is enthusiastic about the enormous popularity that the two Bud Spencer whiskies have already received. He is convinced that the new Firewater will also be very well received by Bud Spencer fans and liqueur connoisseurs. Sale of "Bud Spencer Firewater" starts at the end of April 2021

St. Kilian Distillers receives worldwide awards

St. Kilian, as a comparatively young distillery, repeatedly proves that the age of a whisky is not the sole guarantee of excellent quality. The many national and international awards that already adorn an entire wall are proof of this. That St. Kilian's spirit, also known as White Dog and forming the basis of the Firewater, belongs to the absolute world elite has been clear at least since the World Whiskies Awards 2018. Here, it was named World's Best White Dog.

The whiskies from the Bud Spencer series have also convinced the judges. Both the mild and the smoky Bud Spencer won gold. While the mild one won a gold medal at the International Spirits Award 2021, the smoky one has even been awarded gold twice – once at the Frankfurt International Trophy and once at the Concours International de Lyon.
