St. Kilian Distillers Expands Successful Bud Spencer Series with a Unique Gin Creation

The renowned German distillery St. Kilian Distillers, known for its outstanding whiskies and premium liqueurs, is proudly entering new territory. For the first time in the distillery's young history, the Churfranken-based distillery is introducing an exquisite gin that also pays homage to an unforgettable film legend – the BUD SPENCER – DISTILLED DRY GIN. Traditionally produced in small batches, this exceptional gin creation celebrates the legacy of the famous film hero while capturing the incomparable taste of his Italian homeland.

What makes BUD SPENCER – DISTILLED DRY GIN so unique are the exquisite ingredients, carefully selected to create a multifaceted character. The base consists of hand-picked juniper berries from Tuscany in combination with fruity Amarone grapes from the Valpolicella wine region north of Verona. This distinctive ensemble is complemented by refreshing citrus notes and Mediterranean herbs, giving BUD SPENCER – DISTILLED DRY GIN an unmistakable freshness. A hint of whisky malt rounds off the complex flavor profile and ensures an expressive taste experience that will delight lovers of the noble juniper spirit.

"After the overwhelming success of our Bud Spencer whiskies and liqueurs, and given the constant demand from fans asking if we could also offer a premium gin in the typical Bud Spencer 'look & feel', it was clear to us: We couldn't disappoint our fans and had to deliver," explains Philipp Trützler, Managing Director of St. Kilian Distillers. "Since St. Kilian Distillers is exclusively dedicated to the production of whiskies and liqueurs, the new BUD SPENCER GIN will be distilled according to the recipe and under the guidance of our experienced Master Distiller, Lars Baethcke, at a friendly renowned gin distillery in Baden-Württemberg," Trützler continues. The gin will then be reduced to drinking strength at St. Kilian in Rüdenau and bottled.

BUD SPENCER – DISTILLED DRY GIN available from May 25th

From Saturday, May 25th, at 6:00 PM, the BUD SPENCER – DISTILLED DRY GIN will be available for order in the St. Kilian online shop. From the week of May 27, 2024, the gin will also be available in the shop of the visitor distillery in Rüdenau and in well-stocked retail stores. The recommended retail price for the 0.7-liter bottle is €34.90.
