Unusual casks at the Distillery-Only's

With over 250 different cask types, totally crazy "pre-occupations" and unusual wood types from all over the world – these are the best prerequisites for further exciting St. Kilian single malts and for our limited special bottlings. First, the ideas mature in the mind of our Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, then experiments are conducted and tasted, and in the end, our special whiskies are created. The particular challenge, among other things, is the respective combination during cask occupation – here the questions arise: does THIS special cask fit exactly THAT spirit? For example, how does a slightly salty Manzanilla Sherry in the cask previously in combination with our smoky New Make affect it? We also learn something new every day and try out new casks with passionate interest.
