A visit to the St. Kilian Bunker City is only possible until 18:00.
Where does the St. Kilian Whisky Festival take place?
In the distillery in Rüdenau and in the St. Kilian Bunker City (former NATO ammunition depot in Hainhaus).
Where can I park?
Parking spaces are available at the Reinhold Keller company in Galgenrain, 63924 Kleinheubach. The entrance is free. Exit is always possible even when the barrier is closed. The exit is still possible on Sunday.
Parking directly at the distillery in Rüdenau or at the St. Kilian Bunker City is not possible. A shuttle will take you from the parking lot in Kleinheubach to the distillery.
Can I park my motorhome at the distillery?
No, unfortunately it is not possible to park motorhomes directly at the distillery. However, there is a campsite available in Kleinheubach. From there, the Keller company parking lot is within walking distance. A shuttle will take you from the parking lot in Kleinheubach to the distillery.
How do I get from the parking lot to the distillery?
Free shuttle buses run regularly between the parking lot in Kleinheubach and the distillery in Rüdenau. In the evening, in addition to the trips between the distillery and the parking lot, there will be an additional shuttle bus to Miltenberg.
How do I get from the distillery to Bunker City?
Free shuttle buses also run regularly between the distillery in Rüdenau and Bunker City. Please allow at least one hour for the transfer between the distillery in Rüdenau and Bunker City.
Is there an entrance fee for the Whisky Festival?
No, a visit to the Whisky Festival is free of charge. However, exclusive festival tastings and a pre-opening event the evening before will be offered. Tickets must be booked for the exclusive events.
Are there also free tours?
Yes, free short tours of the distillery in Rüdenau are offered.
How can I take part in an exclusive tasting?
Tickets for exclusive tastings and the pre-opening can soon be booked online. Without a ticket, you will not have access to the exclusive tastings or the closed-off tasting area in the St. Kilian Bunker City. Accompanying persons without a ticket cannot take part in the exclusive tastings.
Can tours be booked both at the distillery and in the St. Kilian Bunker City?
Tours can be booked for both locations. However, you should allow at least an hour for the transfer between the distillery and Bunker City.
Where do the exclusive tastings start?
The meeting point for the tastings at the St. Kilian distillery is the signposted info point.
The meeting point for the tastings in the St. Kilian Bunker City is the respective signposted assembly point in the Bunker City. Follow the signs “To the Tastings”. Please take the shuttle from the distillery to Bunker City on your own. Please note the transfer time of one hour in order to arrive at least 5 minutes before the tasting.
How do I get to my bunker tasting on time?
If you have booked a festival tasting at Bunker City at 10:30 a.m., please take the first shuttle at 9:20 a.m. from the parking lot in Kleinheubach to the distillery. There, you will transfer to the next shuttle to Bunker City.
Another example: Your tasting in Bunker City starts at 12:40 p.m. Then meet at the company parking lot by 11:10 a.m. at the latest. Keller in Kleinheubach and take the shuttle bus from there to the Destellerie. You will then set off for Bunker City from the distillery in Rüdenau at 11:40 am at the latest.
How do I get my tasting tickets?
The tickets will be sent by e-mail after booking.
Do I have to print out my tasting tickets and bring them with me?
No, it is not necessary to print out the tickets. We have lists of participants for each tasting. Nevertheless, we recommend that you keep the booking confirmation digitally on your smartphone.
Are free glasses available?
When booking a festival tasting, a nosing glass and glass holder are included. Glasses can also be borrowed against a deposit.
I still have to drive. What do I do with the drams I have dispensed?
The drams poured during the booked tastings can be decanted into sample bottles brought along.
Will there also be food on site?
Yes, there will be some food trucks on site at the distillery in Rüdenau. Hot meals can also be purchased in the St. Kilian Bunker City. Vegan, vegetarian and sweet dishes are also catered for.
Is whisky served exclusively?
No, in addition to whisky, St. Kilian liqueurs and delicious long drinks are served. Beer and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available.
Can bottles also be purchased at the Whisky Festival?
Yes, in the distillery in Rüdenau you can store in the store and at two other points of sale.
Will there also be special bottlings?
Yes, there will be special bottlings that can only be bought on the day of the Whisky Festival.

The St. Kilian distillery has an elevator for people with disabilities that takes you to the second floor. The elevator can only be used when accompanied by a St. Kilian team member.
