Olli presents St. Kilian Distillers to the public, bringing our whisky brand closer to its target audience. He specifically educates about German whisky, which is not yet sufficiently known among some connoisseurs and enthusiasts. He also establishes new contacts with retailers and other distilleries. An example of this is his active participation in a deal with the Danish distillery Stauning, where four casks were exchanged between the two distilleries St. Kilian and Stauning and each filled with New Make. Fans can look forward to the results of this cooperation.

Olli can be found at various whisky fairs in the north. Whether in Kiel, Bremen, or Hamburg, our Brand Ambassador travels with his St. Kilian stand in the name of German whisky from Rüdenau. Of course, you can also enjoy our exquisite spirits at his stand in Berlin and get updates from Olli about the latest developments at St. Kilian.

How did Olli Fink come to St. Kilian?

In January 2019, Olli and our Master Distiller & Blender, Mario Rudolf, met in Miltenberg am Main. There, Mario made the suggestion and asked Olli to become a brand ambassador for St. Kilian. Before agreeing, Olli reserved the right to visit the distillery in Rüdenau, as he had not yet had extensive contact with German whisky.

What was Olli's first impression of St. Kilian?

As Olli drove along the bumpy road to Rüdenau for the first time, the scenery immediately reminded him of the road conditions in the Scottish Speyside. After an extensive tour of our distillery, tasting some cask-aged spirits, and intensive discussions with the St. Kilian team, Olli was immediately enthusiastic about everything. He agreed to work for us as a brand ambassador in the north.

Is Olli exclusively found in the north?

No. Our brand ambassador can be found regularly several times in Churfränkisch Rüdenau. Be it at an online tasting, the St. Kilian Whisky Festival, or other events. Olli is always happy to meet and advise St. Kilian fans and those who want to become one. Or, as Olli likes to say: "to chat with them!"

Is Olli also online?

Of course! Olli Fink is also present online. He runs his own website at www.whisky-freund.de. There he not only presents a wealth of information but also introduces his whisky of the month. Furthermore, whisky enthusiasts have the opportunity to book various tastings in his cozy tasting room or privately at home and purchase one or more St. Kilian whiskies in his mini-shop.
