FANTASTIC FOUR - FULL LOAD OF PEAT SMOKE

Our most intense bottling to date arrived with the fourth whisky in the Signature Edition: The Four is smokier than any of its predecessors and matured entirely in Andalusian sherry casks.

A full load of peat smoke: With a phenol content of 54 ppm in the malt, the "Four" is not only our smokiest to date, but also our most aromatic and powerful bottling thanks to its full maturation in sherry casks.

SIGNATURE EDITION FOUR: SURPRISINGLY INTENSE, SPICY AND SMOKY

The reason for the "force" in the Four: Spanish temperament meets whisky tradition. For Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, it's a first-class combination: "Our 'Four' simply brims with power and spice. With its distinctive peat smoke, it doesn't need to hide from typical Islay whiskies. The special combination of striking smoke and fruity sherry notes brings a spirited, very mature aroma to the glass." Distilled in traditional copper pot stills, the new Single Malt provides an intense tasting experience.

FULL MATURATION IN THE BEST SHERRY CASKS

Selected sherry casks from Andalusia give the "Four" its fruity and spicy character. Only in autumn did Mario Rudolf and his team visit the legendary bodegas in the Jerez region. But not all sherry is the same: the Single Malt Whisky was allowed to mature equally in selected former Oloroso Barrels and Pedro Ximénez casks. While dry Oloroso sherry mainly imparts nutty-spicy aromas to the distillate, sweet Pedro Ximénez - or "PX" for short - gives intense notes of raisins and candied dried fruits. Together? In the "Four", they form a fruity counterpart to the strong peat smoke.

The "Three" is a true Peated Malt Whisky in the classic style – smoky, lively, and fresh. It combines warm peat smoke with St. Kilian's typical aromas of ripe pears and malt, as well as spicy-sweet vanilla and caramel accents from the casks. A higher alcohol content of 50% vol. enhances the whisky's complex aromas: "100 Proof" for 100 percent enjoyment.
