Three years have passed. 36 months of hard work and passion. 156 weeks in which we turned ideas into reality. 1,095 days in which St. Kilian Distillers grew as a team and a brand – with and through its spirits. Excellent new makes, delicious liqueurs and diverse bottlings from our The Spirit of St. Kilian have increased your and our anticipation for the big day. For our first whisky. And it? Is here now!

True Single Malt – made in Germany

Our very first bottling, the "First Kilian", was highly limited. There were 760 bottles of this first creation – the same number of inhabitants our "whisky village" Rüdenau had when we filled the first cask. It sold out very quickly in pre-sale. The solution: We followed up with another great single malt – perfectly in line with our new motto: Authentic. Surprising. And: truly delicious.

It's called "One". The start of our Signature Edition. True single malt whisky – made in Germany, but at home all over the world. It embodies experimental joy, a lot of team spirit and, of course, the best ingredients: 100 percent malted barley from Bamberg, traditional copper pot stills from Forsyths, five excellent casks. With former bourbon, rum and PX sherry casks, as well as ex-bourbon quarter casks and chestnut casks, our distiller team, led by Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, has created a smooth single malt for you with notes of tropical fruits and a malty finish.

Whisky Weekend in Rüdenau

At the celebration of this milestone on Friday evening at our distillery, representatives of the press and the buyers of our "First Kilian" already had the opportunity to taste our Signature "One". 400 guests came to duly celebrate the biggest moment in the history of St. Kilian Distillers so far. They were thrilled - and we were overwhelmed! To all other friends, fans, and neighbors, we are presenting our "One" from the Signature Edition today at an open house.

The "One" is now available for €38.90 in our brand new online shop and in specialist shops. How you enjoy it? That's up to you. We like it with freshly baked banana bread or a piece of delicious milk chocolate.

St. Kilian Distillers – What's Next

Now we're really taking off: For the Signature Edition, we have planned a whole range of further whiskies. From mild and unpeated to spicy with smoky notes – all bearing the signature of excellent casks from all over the world, each bottling individually composed by our distiller team around Mario Rudolf.

Their tools? Over 90 different cask types: former Amarone, rum or Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, ex-bourbon quarter casks, chestnut casks or Sauternes white wine casks. We have collected them from the Caribbean to Texas to Islay. What does that mean for your enjoyment? The best (taste) conditions!
