St. Kilian's Whisky Weekend

The biggest moment in our history so far

The premiere celebration for our first whisky on Friday evening was a great start to our whisky weekend. However, yesterday's open day was the crowning glory for the launch of "The One" from the new Signature Edition – and the many years of hard work we have invested over the past three years.

If you had asked us a few days ago, when we were up to our ears in organizational stress, barely leaving the distillery, dreaming of all the unfinished tasks or simply not sleeping at all – we might have said something like: "Why did we even do this?!" But today? "Again and again!" Admittedly, we might be a little exhausted. But: Truly happy. It was worth it!

First of all: thank you

Old friends and new friends, whisky connoisseurs and whisky beginners, fans and neighbors, young and old – thousands of them came to Rüdenau on Sunday. We used every corner of our distillery, tidied it up, and equipped it. Our thanks go to Fest- und Partyservice Breunig, the Donut-Queen from Mömlingen and Fili's Pizza for the delicacies they provided for our guests. To the Rüdenau brass band for the musical accompaniment of the open day. To the CC Rüdenau for their support in the form of drinks and cakes. And: To all guests and our team!

That's how the open day was

Yesterday's open day? Definitely the biggest moment in the history of St. Kilian Distillers so far! Because: We were able to introduce and celebrate the Signature "One" with everyone. For this, we had meticulously planned a diverse program beforehand. The focus? Whisky, of course. For example, it was available in exclusive masterclasses with Patrick "Pat" Hock, our whisky expert, and in our barrel warehouse with Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, who invited guests to a warehouse tasting. Or for one particularly lucky person in the form of their own whisky barrel, the main prize in our competition. Who is it? We will draw the winner in the next few days. All participants can therefore continue to keep their fingers crossed.

May brings all things new: whisky, website and shop

We still can't quite believe that it's finally here, our "One". Our distiller team around Mario Rudolf has created a fruity and mild start to the whisky history of St. Kilian Distillers for you. You couldn't make it to the weekend event? Now you can still get your own impression of our single malt. We were also busy digitally and have built a new website and a new shop for you. There you can get your bottle of Signature "One" for €38.90. Or you can simply make up for your visit and come for a distillery tour, one of our regular tastings or to browse in our in-house shop.
