On Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 7 PM, St. Kilian Distillers invites you to a spectacular online tasting to bid farewell to the year with a true fireworks display of flavors. Four fascinating new single malt whiskies promise unforgettable moments of enjoyment at the highest level, while a renowned panel of experts offers exciting insights into the world of distilling art. Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, whisky connoisseur Dr. Heinz Weinberger, Brand Ambassador Christoph Albietz, Director of Communication & Brand Development Andreas Kreser, and St. Kilian Distillers Fellow Juliane Weber will guide you live from Rüdenau through this extraordinary evening that every whisky fan will remember for a long time!
In addition, the highly anticipated Signature Edition FOURTEEN will be presented – an impressive continuation of the success story of the popular series. This single malt whisky celebrates neighboring France by maturing in exquisite casks previously used for select French wines and spirits.
An exclusive single cask bottling from an ex-Champagne Vin Clair cask will also be part of the tasting – a refined, unpeated drop that impresses with its complexity and is perfectly suited to toast a brilliant 2025 with popping corks.
Another highlight is the second smoky edition from the unique Whisky Solera by St. Kilian, which skillfully combines the balance between smoke, sherry, and complexity. With the third bottling in the series, collectors can build or expand their own solera by stacking the round packaging tubes pyramid-style for an impressive display.
The lineup will be complemented by three other selected single malt whiskies, making the evening even more varied. The two popular classics from the St. Kilian Core Range – CLASSIC – Mild & Fruity and PEATED – Rich & Smoky – are just as essential as the current, gently smoky Judas Priest Heavy Metal Edition "Invincible Shield." The creamy ADVOCAAT egg liqueur, refined with St. Kilian Single Malt Whisky, provides a sweet finish.
Raffle: 30-liter customer cask as a prize
For all those who have purchased a tasting set, there is also the unique opportunity to become the proud owner of a 30-liter customer cask worth over €3,000. By purchasing a tasting set, whisky lovers automatically participate in the raffle for a high-quality Amarone red wine private cask filled with mild single malt spirit. The prize also includes storage in Rüdenau, bottling, high-quality labeling, and the payment of all applicable taxes.
Ordering the tasting sets
The tasting sets with the eight exquisite samples can be conveniently ordered online until December 18, 2024, inclusive. As long as supplies last, the sets are also available in the shop of the St. Kilian Visitor Distillery in Rüdenau.

Exceptional Range Mizunara – Peated (limited to 258 bottles): This exceptional Mizunara single cask bottling from the St. Kilian Exceptional Range is the first peated single malt whisky in the exclusive series, reserved for the masterpieces of German distilling. The high-quality rarity is presented in a decoratively designed 0.5-liter pot still glass bottle and complemented by elegant packaging that emphasizes its uniqueness and exclusivity. After five years of maturation in a fresh, previously unused 225-liter Mizunara oak cask, an intense, complex interplay of aromas unfolds, where aromatic peat smoke and sandalwood combine with sweet dried fruits, while oriental spices, licorice, and a hint of eucalyptus refine the palate.

Signature Edition FOURTEEN – Unpeated (limited to 4,260 bottles): This new release combines distillates that matured in exquisite French casks for three to seven years – including Rhum Agricole, Armagnac, Cognac, Sauternes, Margaux red wine, and Champagne Vin Clair. The noble casks give this single malt whisky remarkable depth and elegance, inspired by the French terroir. Whisky Solera – Peated – III 2024 (limited to 683 bottles): This second peated bottling of the Whisky Solera series underwent the three-stage St. Kilian Whisky Solera System, with final maturation in noble Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Previously, the whisky matured in a unique combination of 20-year-old Amontillado, 30-year-old Fino, and finest Oloroso sherry casks, which were filled with peated whisky from ex-bourbon casks. The result is a complex, four-year-old single malt whisky that combines a harmonious balance of smoke, sherry notes, and elegant sweetness. An exclusive special edition that will delight both collectors and connoisseurs.
