Pressemitteilung: Limitierte Raritäten, innovative Experimental-Serie und Whisky Bunker Premiere beim St. Kilian Online Tasting

St. Kilian's First Online Whisky Tasting 2025 with Five Exclusive New Releases

Rüdenau, March 2025
On Saturday, March 29th at 7:00 PM, St. Kilian's first online whisky tasting of 2025 will take place. St. Kilian Distillers will present five exclusive new releases and offer fascinating insights into the world of extraordinary whisky creations.

The lineup includes eight carefully selected tasting samples, among them the first bottling of Whisky Bunker AG, the Limited Release 2025. This newly founded company, with St. Kilian owner Andreas Thümmler as CEO and an experienced supervisory board, operates as an independent bottler with a clear vision: to mature whisky in high-quality casks for a very long time, thus increasing its value, and at the same time to build up noble stocks with a high age statement.

Another highlight is an exclusive special edition with a unique braille label from the Small Batch series, which will be presented on the occasion of the German Audio Film Award 2025. The award will be presented on March 25th in Berlin and honors outstanding accessible film productions. With this special edition, St. Kilian not only makes a statement for enjoyment but also for social responsibility. For each bottle sold, 10 Euros will be donated to the German Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted (DBSV).

Furthermore, the new results of the experimental X-Series will be presented. The Core Range bottlings CLASSIC and PEATED underwent an 18-month secondary maturation in heavy stoneware containers – an innovative method that elevates the aromas to a new level. The lineup is complemented by an ultra heavily peated ex Cognac single cask bottling at cask strength, as well as the recently introduced Signature Editions FOURTEEN and FIFTEEN. The delightful finale is the silky-smooth, creamy-sweet CREAM cream liqueur, which rounds off the tasting with a touch of elegance and sweetness.

The tasting will be broadcast live from the stillhouse in Rüdenau, Lower Franconia. The St. Kilian experts – founder and owner Andreas Thümmler, Master Distiller and Master Blender Mario Rudolf, whisky connoisseur Dr. Heinz Weinberger, and Customer Experience Director Andreas Kreser – will guide through the tasting and share exciting insights into the world of distillation, maturation, and aroma composition.

Until March 24, 2025, whisky lovers still have the opportunity to secure their spot at this unique event. The exclusive tasting sets can be conveniently ordered online or purchased directly at the visitor distillery's shop.

About Whisky Bunker AG

Whisky Bunker GmbH was founded in 2019 and converted into a public limited company in 2024. Andreas Thümmler, founder and owner of St. Kilian Distillers GmbH, is on the board. The supervisory board consists of high-profile industry experts. Whisky Bunker AG is neither an investment company nor a classic investment in whisky. Rather, the AG pursues the business model of a so-called independent bottler. The core of the business model is to acquire whisky and store and mature it in casks for as long as possible in order to resell it later. In doing so, whisky stocks are purchased and resold to generate profits. The core objective is the long-term establishment of a whisky stock with as high an age statement as possible.
