St. Kilian presents peated Single Malt Whisky "Brand Ambassador's Choice" from Amarone single cask at Whisky Time Frankfurt 2024

On March 15, 2024, the Franconian whisky distillery St. Kilian Distillers will present the exclusive single cask bottling "Brand Ambassador's Choice" at the Whisky Time Frankfurt fair. The innovative distillery from Rüdenau near Miltenberg am Main presents a unique creation personally selected by none other than St. Kilian's brand ambassador Christoph B. Albietz.

The "Brand Ambassador's Choice" special edition was produced from Scottish peated malt with a phenol content of 80 ppm. This exquisite single malt whisky matured for four years in a 310-liter ex-Amarone cask from the renowned Cantine Lenotti from Bardolino on Lake Garda, Italy. The choice of this special cask lends the whisky fascinating complexity and an impressive range of dark fruit notes that harmoniously blend with the aromatic peat smoke.

The "Brand Ambassador's Choice" special edition is neither colored nor chill-filtered and was bottled at cask strength with an alcohol content of 59.7% vol. into a total of 610 iconic pot still bottles. Its exceptional maturation and unique characteristics make this special bottling a convincing taste experience.

Christoph B. Albietz is enthusiastic about his choice, which was made in the spirit of the motto "Sharing brings joy": "I am delighted to be able to present my first Brand Ambassador's Choice bottling in March. The ex-Amarone cask – peated was by far the most requested and most enquired about in many of my conversations. That's why I tasted numerous such casks and selected my personal favorite cask, so to speak, for our loyal fans."

The exclusive single cask bottling will be available in limited quantities at Whisky Time Frankfurt on March 15 and 16, 2024. Enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and collectors will have the opportunity to taste the "Brand Ambassador's Choice" at the St. Kilian Distillers stand and learn more about the craftsmanship and philosophy behind this full-bodied single malt whisky. The limited bottling will also be available in the distillery's online shop from Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11 am.

Dark rosé

Nose
A captivating aromatic combination of dark grapes, juicy cherries, and red currants, complemented by sweet peat smoke and subtle BBQ notes, rounded off by a hint of vanilla and spicy oak tones.

Palate
The elegant fruit sweetness of dark grapes, ripe cherries, juicy strawberries, and red currants, combined with creamy vanilla, is perfectly balanced by a warming oak spice with a pinch of nougat, all gently enveloped by sweet peat smoke.

Finish
The creamy-sweet, red fruit jam lingers very long with nougat, gentle peat smoke, subtly ashy nuances, and slightly dry tannins.
