With the new St. Kilian CIGAR MALT, the award-winning distillery from Rüdenau presents a single malt whisky specially designed to complement the experience of a fine cigar. Powerful, complex, and with an enchanting sweetness – this whisky is St. Kilian's answer to the great Cigar Malts of the Scottish Highlands.

A powerhouse full of elegance: The Cask Trilogy
Behind the CIGAR MALT lies a profound cask strategy that harmoniously matches tobacco aromas.

• Ex-Port Wine Tawny casks give the whisky a dark, elegant structure and a fruity depth.
• Ex-Sweet Wine casks provide a melting body and a gentle honey sweetness.
• Virgin Oak casks contribute the distinctive oak spice and intense vanilla notes that form the backbone of the perfect "pairing whisky".
  

"Our goal was to create a whisky that stands for pure enjoyment and pairs perfectly with a cigar, while retaining the unmistakable St. Kilian DNA." The result is an unpeated single malt with 46% ABV, which, with its richness, refines every moment with or without a cigar.

The CIGAR MALT is more than just a new bottling – it is a strategic statement for specialist retailers. As a permanent part of the Core Range, it offers specialized retailers a compelling product for a demanding target group that values "Made in Germany" quality. Thanks to its 46% ABV, it is perfectly balanced: strong enough for a cigar, but soft enough for pure enjoyment.

The taste experience: A fireworks display of aromas 
The nose is already caressed by creamy vanilla, fine toffee, and a warming oak spice. Exotic notes of ripe mango and honeydew melon meet an elegant grape sweetness. On the palate, an opulent fruitiness unfolds, which is in perfect balance with spicy woody notes. The long-lasting finish with caramel and soft vanilla slowly fades away after minutes – exactly the time needed for a good smoke.

Radiant Copper 

Aroma: 
Gentle, perfectly integrated oak spice meets creamy vanilla and warm toffee. Fruity accents of ripe mango and honeydew melon provide an exotic liveliness, refined by a subtle, deep grape sweetness.

Taste: 
Full-bodied and complex. Spicy oak notes harmonize with fresh red fruits and the sweetness of ripe mangoes. A soft, accessible mouthfeel with full aromatic power.

Finish: 
Impressively long-lasting. The oak spice remains present but is elegantly caught by soft vanilla and creamy caramel. The fruitiness fades subtly and harmoniously.
