New St. Kilian Awards 2020

San Francisco, London, Neustadt - St. Kilian Distillers has reaped the rewards for its distillation artistry at three nationally and internationally renowned competitions. The passion in production, high-quality ingredients and traditional equipment are paying off: both the critical jury in London and those of the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Meininger's International Spirits Award rewarded the work with numerous medals.

The results of the "London Spirits Competition" are extremely gratifying:

• Spirit of the Year
• Whisky of the Year (Signature Edition FOUR)
• GOLD / 97 points (Signature Edition FOUR)
• Best Spirit by Value
• Best Spirit by Package

The entire St. Kilian team is particularly pleased about being named "Distillery of the Year", as this is the well-deserved reward for the joint efforts of the first few years.

Full success also in San Francisco

Here, the single malts "Signature Edition ONE" and "Signature Edition THREE" were submitted, and due to the Corona pandemic, the evaluation took a little longer.

Two more gold medals at Meininger's Award:

At the 17th Meininger's International Spirits Award ISW, almost 50 spirits experts were guests in Neustadt at the end of June and professionally tasted and evaluated countless submitted spirits. Strict guidelines limit the awarding of medals to a maximum of 30 percent of the submitted products, and St. Kilian mastered this hurdle with flying colours.

In May 2019, the St. Kilian team presented its first three-year-old single malt whisky and is now setting new quality standards in the production of "whisky made in Germany" with its Small Batch Signature Editions, which are now also being awarded internationally.
