Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss Easter Bunny Batter Cake

Ingredients:

  • 300 g soft butter
  • 300 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • Pulp of 1 vanilla bean
  • 300 g ground almonds
  • 150 g chopped hazelnuts
  • 80 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 100 ml Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss hazelnut liqueur

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius
  • Grease baking pan or line with baking paper
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy
  • Add eggs one by one and mix well
  • Mix ground almonds, flour, and baking powder, then alternately stir into the egg mixture with the Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss (hazelnut liqueur)
  • Roast chopped hazelnuts in a pan, add to the batter, and mix
  • Pour the batter into the baking pan and bake with convection heat for approx. 35 minutes
  • After baking, let the bunnies sit in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and let cool
  • Poke small holes in the cake with a wooden skewer or fork and brush with Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss (hazelnut liqueur)
  • Once the liqueur has soaked in, decorate with powdered sugar
