St. Kilian Distillers expands its product range with the Terence Hill brand, featuring the hazelnut liqueur "Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll Auf Die Nuss"

In his legendary films, Terence Hill always stands up for justice, never shying away from a good brawl. And in these brawls, the bad guys often get a full-on nut (punch). In homage to his films and to properly celebrate "The Hero" Terence Hill, St. Kilian Distillers has created a premium liqueur based on highly aromatic hazelnuts. Following the resounding success of the two now multi-award-winning whiskies from the Terence Hill series, Germany's largest whisky distillery is now releasing the Wild West liqueur "Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss" (Terence Hill - The Hero - Full of Nuts). "With this intense, full-bodied, yet not too sweet liqueur, St. Kilian completes its standard product range around its beloved heroes Bud Spencer and Terence Hill," says CEO Philipp Trützler. In addition to the mild and smoky whiskies "Bud Spencer – The Legend" and "Terence Hill – The Hero," and the chili-cinnamon liqueur "Bud Spencer Feuerwasser," the new hazelnut liqueur seamlessly integrates into the existing product range of the still young distillery from Rüdenau in Lower Franconia.

TERENCE HILL – THE HERO – FULL OF NUTS

The new hazelnut liqueur "Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss" is based on the mild St. Kilian Single Malt Spirit, which is double-distilled from the finest barley malt in copper pot stills and subsequently infused with natural flavors. The intense aroma of roasted hazelnuts is elegantly balanced with notes of creamy vanilla, marzipan, and the finest cocoa. With 21% Vol., this liqueur is pleasantly mild and promises a rich and full-bodied taste experience of a very special kind. The bulbous 0.7l bottle, in which the popular Terence Hill and Bud Spencer whiskies as well as the sweet and spicy chili-cinnamon liqueur "Bud Spencer Feuerwasser" are also bottled, additionally gives this fine drop a special visual appeal.

Successful license cooperation with BSL

St. Kilian Distillers has been successfully collaborating with the Munich licensing agency Bavaria Sonor Licensing (BSL) since 2020. As a division of Bavaria Media GmbH, BSL was commissioned by the rights holder Plattfuss Vertriebs GmbH to expand the product world around Bud Spencer and Terence Hill with corresponding licensed products throughout Europe. BSL initially managed to win St. Kilian, a multi-award-winning distillery, for whiskies and liqueurs under the Bud Spencer brand. A year later, the product range was expanded with "Terence Hill – The Hero – Whiskies" in mild and smoky varieties. Incidentally, the whiskies have since won several international awards.

Premiere at the St. Kilian Online Whisky Tasting on April 30, 2022

Founder Andreas Thümmler and Master Distiller Mario Rudolf, together with national and international guests of honor, will present a potpourri of five selected whisky samples and two liqueurs live from the Bud Spencer Museum in Berlin on Saturday, April 30, at 8:00 PM. VIP guests and connoisseurs will have the opportunity to taste the new hazelnut liqueur "Terence Hill – The Hero – Voll auf die Nuss" on site and online. The full-bodied Terence Hill liqueur will be available in stores from early May.

Aroma
A wonderfully intense aroma of roasted hazelnuts, accompanied by a silky smooth sweetness with notes of marzipan and bourbon vanilla.

Taste
A rich sweetness with an elegantly smooth texture of roasted hazelnuts, creamy vanilla, and the finest caramel, underpinned by delicate marzipan and a hint of cocoa.

Finish
Velvety smooth with a mild sweetness and a long finish of delicious hazelnut aromas, rounded off with subtly dry notes of cocoa and coffee.
