The annual Spencer Hill Festival will take place in Ilmenau, Thuringia, on September 6 and 7, 2024. For this special occasion, the award-winning German whisky distillery St. Kilian Distillers and Paloma Productions Media und Marketing GmbH are presenting two limited single malt whiskies. These exclusive bottlings, each limited to 1,000 bottles, bear the resonant names "Trinity Is Still My Name" and "They Call Me Trinity". Inspired by the cult film of the same name from 1970, these whiskies are not only a tribute to the two main characters "Trinity" and "Bambino", but also offer a unique taste experience.
"Trinity Is Still My Name" – Trinity
This limited special edition from St. Kilian Distillers was created on behalf of Paloma Productions Media und Marketing GmbH. As the exclusive rights holder of the Terence Hill brand, Paloma Productions also represents numerous TV and home entertainment productions featuring the cult actor. This single malt whisky, developed for the official Terence Hill Shop, reflects the sophistication and lightness of Trinity with a seductively creamy sweetness of vanilla and delicate toffee, as well as the exotic fruitiness of peach, pineapple and banana. Matured in fine ex-Rhum Agricole casks from the Caribbean, this special edition is a balanced and complex composition that delights both beginners and experienced whisky lovers.
"They Call Me Trinity" – Bambino
In contrast, there is the powerful yet harmonious creation dedicated to Bud Spencer, also known as "Bambino". With intense fruit notes of ripe cherries, red grapes and juicy strawberries, complemented by warming oak spice and a hint of dark chocolate, this single malt whisky embodies Bambino's unwavering strength and distinctive charm. Careful maturation in selected ex-Ripasso and ex-Amarone red wine casks gives this full-bodied special edition its deep and complex flavor notes.

Both single malt whisky special editions are neither colored nor chill-filtered and are bottled at a perfect drinking strength of 46% vol in the iconic 0.7 liter bottle. "Trinity Is Still My Name" and "They Call Me Trinity" are each limited to 1,000 bottles and will be available from August 27 online at St. Kilian Distillers and directly at the visitor distillery shop in Rüdenau. The recommended retail price for the 0.7 liter bottle is €59.90.
Pistachio cream liqueur "Johnny Firpo – Homemade – A Tiny Pistachio"
At the Spencer Hill Festival 2024 in Ilmenau, visitors can not only taste the two single malt whiskies, but also enjoy the pistachio cream liqueur "Johnny Firpo – Homemade – A Tiny Pistachio", created exclusively for the event. This premium liqueur from St. Kilian Distillers is a tribute to a scene from the turbulent action comedy "Odds and Evens". In it, Johnny drives his half-brother Charlie to despair with his persistent demand for a tiny dollop of pistachio ice cream.
The combination of high-quality cream and delicious pistachio gives the liqueur a full-bodied and creamy taste that delights both neat and on ice. The pistachio cream liqueur, limited to 500 bottles, will be available online and in the visitor distillery shop from September 5, 2024. The recommended retail price for the 0.7 liter bottle with 20% vol alcohol is €29.90.
