The two single malt whiskies CLASSIC and PEATED form the core range of St. Kilian Distillers. The two whiskies are composed of mild and smoky (54 ppm) single malts, respectively, 70% of which were allowed to mature in various bourbon casks and 30% in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks (full maturation).

Classic

The single malt whiskey convinces with ripe apricots and peaches, which are rounded off by creamy vanilla, spicy oak and fine herbal notes. are rounded off.

APPEARANCE

AROMA
Multi-layered fruit notes of ripe apricots, peaches, yellow plums and plantains combine with creamy vanilla to form a sweet melange of fruit, which is underpinned by finely spiced oak and a delicate herbal note of fresh mint and a little sage.

TASTE
Balanced sweet and at the same time warming with apricots and peaches, creamy toffee as well as spicy oak flavors, spiced up with a pinch of white pepper and perfectly rounded off with a hint of fresh mint.

AFTERNOON
Creamy caramel notes linger pleasantly with fine brittle, subtle dry oak spice and a hint of fine herbs.

Peated

For the single malt whisky, heavily peated barley malt from the Scottish Highlands with a phenol content of 54 ppm was used.

AROMA
The beguiling fruit bouquet of grilled apricots, juicy pears and ripe bananas is refined with sweet vanilla as well as a squeeze of lime, perfectly surrounded by mild peat smoke and complemented by dry ash tones with cooling mint.

TASTE
Full-bodied sweet and fruity with vanilla, apricots and pears, in harmony with creamy toffee and delicate peat smoke, which elegantly underlines the warming oak spice with a pinch of white pepper and fresh mint.

AFTERNOON
Soothingly warming with creamy fruit compote as well as dark toffee, which are long-lasting underpinned by ashy smoke and a subtle dry oak spiciness.
